This unique print was created by Bryony of Palava using beautiful illustrations from Claude Augé’s Nouveau Larousse illustré, an illustrated French language encyclopedia published between 1897 and 1904.
If you look closely, you’ll see little reference numbers next to the creatures on the ocean floor and their corresponding Latin names along the hem.
About the Style: Cynthia is the shirt dress of our dreams; featuring a pretty mandarin collar that can be worn up or turned down, three-quarter length sleeves, a belted waist, deep pockets, and a full skirt.
